I will persist. It caught the biggest of the wild brown trout here in waters that are traditionally trolled with Cobra type wobblers, as the was rest of the catch.

Caught a nice Tasmanian wild trout first cast along a lake dam wall! The fish broke the cheapo rod in the process. (sorry about the photos clarity, I took it as proof with substandard equipment on hand) The lure tended to run sideways but that didn't worry the fish. I have subsequently loaned it to my daughter (with a better rod) for two further 1/2 hour stints on said dam wall, for 2 further catches. I've straightened it's running since. It will be interesting if that alters it's catchability.

Recently bought a few of these lures to try on golden perch but it is winter here at the moment and fish are not going on lures. Will be trying some in September. They are a great looking lure and I love the colours. I am a lure maker and I use some of your blanks but I would not bother to paint when I can buy lures like this for the price.
