Deadly on Bluefish! The lure itself swims fantastic, even in fast water. It casts far, sinks, runs deep and the silver flash excites fish to strike. Good for stripers, Spanish Macks, kings, jacks etc. Great lure. A MUST do is to take off the split rings and hooks (because they rust and the thin hooks snap on big fish), Put on saltwater quality split rings and 3x or 4x strong hooks. Well worth the effort to do so. It's a great lure. You can let it down to the bottom and jig it too!

Great action! Bass chase the bait until it's in their mouth. Great bait for tournament fishing! Need a 5 bass limit or as many fish in 8 hours; this is a good bait to use.

Good casting lure for bluefish on light tackle. For repeated usage change the split rings (they'll rust) and use stronger and slightly larger hooks that are corrosion resistant. The lure casts far and swims great, even in a strong running tide. No plastic lips to break off when head shakes slam the lure to the deck. Great lure. I bought a bunch of them in different colors. Get the heavy ones.
